Live Music This Fall ...
I'm excited about some shows this fall, so I'm posting some info ... Love acoustic music? Come out and hear some local jewels, who happen to be my super talented songwriter friends, I'm proud to say!
First up: I'll be trading songs with my dear friend, the lovely and talented, Janet Feld, thanks to the Linden Tree Coffeehouse, with support from the Mass Cultural Council, Wakefield chapter.
When: Sat. Nov. 6th at 7:30 pm Where: due to Covid restrictions, a small group of folks will provide a live audience at the Linden Tree's Covid location. And there will also a live stream on Linden Tree’s Facebook and Youtube channels, from www.LindenTreeCoffeehouse.org.
Cost: $20 recommended, that was the pre-covid admission fee, thanks to partial support from Wakefield’s Art Council of the Massachusetts Cultural Council and the Ivy Chord Coffeehouse in Reading. Donate what you can, though. A PayPal link will be provided. Or mail checks to: Linden Tree Coffeehouse 8 Dexter Lane,
Save Two Dates! Pre and post Thanksgiving entertainment: 1) Wednesday, November 24th, Club Passim: I'm thrilled to be joining my husband, Chris Lavancher, to sing and play mando at his CD release, for his new record, After the Flood. I may be somewhat biased ... somewhat ... maybe, but this record is my favorite Chris Lavancher!
And he's splitting the night with our incredibly talented friends, The Lied To's, Susan Levine & Doug Kwartler. They will release a new record, so hot off the presses, that I don't yet know the title ;-) Stay tuned! You won't be disappointed -- they are fantastic! 2) On Tuesday, November 30th, Janet Feld & I will be trading tunes at Club Passim. More to come on the two Passim shows. Okay, that's it for now. It's nice to focus on things other than cults & trauma :-) Happy weekend! Esther
